CALL FOR PAPERS
The European Public Choice Society promotes scientific research on the economics and politics of public and non-market decision-making, political economy and the economics of institutions. About 300 researchers from different fields such as economics, political science and other social sciences meet annually to discuss the current issues in all fields of Public Choice and Political Economy, in all their theoretical and empirical dimensions.
Organized by the LEM research center (Lille, France), the 2021 Meeting will be an online event.
We do expect that members of the society will get involved in this first virtual meeting of the EPCS, in both the plenary and parallel sessions, and will join in with us next April, whether as a presenter or a researcher looking for new research, new networks, and nice feedbacks. There will also be a special session on women in Public Choice.
THE WICKSELL PRIZE:
Each year the EPCS awards the Wicksell Prize, in honor of the Swedish economist Johan Gustaf Knut Wicksell, to the best paper presented at the annual meeting by a “young” researcher. To qualify for the prize, the presenter of the paper as well as all co-authors must be under 30 years of age as of December 31, 2020. The Wicksell Prize is sponsored by the European Journal of Political Economy.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: January, 19, 2021. Decisions will be sent by February, 15, 2021.
